Iain Ford - Jersey Boys Tribute Night

Iain Ford, a parent to one of our pupils, put on a Jersey Boys Tribute Night. Thanks to all people who donated and thank you to Iain who organised it all.

Stephen Rees - London Marathon

Stephen ran the London Marathon in an amazing 5:17:12 and raised vital funds for our Foundation. Thank you.

Polly Ayre - London Marathon

Polly Ayre also spent her time training for the London Marathon and collecting donations for us.

Simon Fisher - Trekfest 50km walk

Simon came across our charity as his local Golf Club, Addington Court Veterans Golf Club, who are supporting a charity every year. He then took it upon himself to raise funds for Rutherford School by walking 50 km across the Brecon Beacons. He managed in a fantastic time, despite a fall and injury and also exceeded his fundraising goal. The money went towards the hoists in our classrooms.

Henrik Winther-Olsen - South coast Challenge AND London Marathon

Henrik was our Interim Head Teacher for Rutherford School during 2021-2022. He is so passionate about our cause that he not only took on the job, but also raised funds by taking part in the South Coast Challenge, a 100 km walk along the South Coast. And after that, he casually ran the London Marathon for us.
